Linux Netbook Remix blows XP away - Specially the categorized desktop

I just bought an HP Mini 1035, It's 10.2" is a little larger then most netbooks out there and the keyboard layout and keys are much better than the others. It came with:
Intel Atom 270
60GB SATA HDD
1GB RAM

I upgraded the RAM to 2GB, Inserted a 8GB SD Card and installed Ubuntu Netbook Remix Linux on the SD Card.

I then switched my primary drive to the SD card from BIOS and configured GRUB (The linux bootloader) to allow for windows xp booting.

This way the main HDD is not touched at all and if I just switch the boot sequence back to the main HDD then the system goes directly to windows and no one would ever notice that there is linux installed on the SD card.

So with SD Card being primary, now I can choose to boot either to Windows or Linux and this boot configuration is only in the SD card.

After installation when fFor the first time I booted my system to the Linux Desktop, I was blown away from the start at how nice and user friendly the desktop is. I think boot time is a little faster as well (I wonder how faster it would be if I used a High Speed SD card).

In this deskop, on my left side I have all the categories and upon selecting these categories I can see all the icons in the middle desktop area and on the right side I have access to all my local files in the SD Card, the 60GB Windows HDD, windows network shared drives on other computers and my Linksys NAS.

The best thing I like is that I dont have to create all the shortcut icons and clutter my desktop - or go to windos start -> programs -> then where the heck is the application? Oh by the way you don't "click 'Start' to quit windows" you actually click on 'Quit' to quit

Ubuntu has done a really great job in making this netbook desktop the user friendliest of all. I dont think anyone would regret switching to Ubuntu's Netbook Remix from XP - definitely not me...
